EFFORT Project of Erasmus Mundus Programme

         http://www.i-bteu.by/Portals/0/Images/BluePoint.gif June 21-24, 2017 the final partner meeting of the project "Education force: driving mobility for EU-East Europe cooperation" of ERASMUS MUNDUS program was held at Polytechnic Institute of Viana do Castelo (Viana do Castelo, Portugal). Associate professor of Department of Global and National Economics, EFFORT project Coordinator Natallia Yatsevich represented BTEU and the Republic of Belarus at the partner final meeting. During the meeting results of the project implementation for 2013-2017 were summed up, prospects for further cooperation within the consortium of participating universities were discussed.
Based on the results of EFFORT project for 2013-2017 years 18 people from BTEU took part in international academic mobility. Among them 7 students, 4 masters, 2 doctorates and 5 lecturers. Participants undertook internships and exchange education at the following European universities: Polytechnic Institute of Viana do Castelo (Portugal), Tomáš Bata University in Zlin (Czech Republic), Alexander Technological Educational Institute of Thessaloniki (Greece), Central School of Marseille (France), Vidzeme University of Applied Sciences (Latvia).

                                                  

      http://www.i-bteu.by/Portals/0/Images/BluePoint.gif February 20 - March 21, 2017 within participation of Belarusian Trade and Economics University of Consumer Cooperation in EFFORT project of ERASMUS MUNDUS programme Vice-rector for educational work PhD in Economics, associate professor Shablouskaya Tatsiana undertook an internship in Central School of Marseille, elite Higher Education Institution of France providing opportunity of receiving Master’s and Doctorate degree in the field of engineering.

                                

      http://www.i-bteu.by/Portals/0/Images/BluePoint.gif 11 January - 11 February 2017 associate professor of the Department of Information and Computer Systems Svetlana Kravtchenko undertook an internship at Ecole Centrale de Marseille (France). This internship was completed in frames of EFFORT project of Erasmus Mundus programme. Ecole Centrale de Marseille is a French institution of higher education that trains engineers. Training lasts for 5 years (including master's degree course). Students study mathematics, physics, chemistry, programming and a number of economic disciplines.
During the internship Svetlana Kravtchenko attended lectures and workshops of French teachers, activities organized by the university student associations, events with participation of companies and partners.


     http://www.i-bteu.by/Portals/0/Images/BluePoint.gif  October 13-14, 2016 The fourth meeting of partners of EFFORT project of Erasmus Mundus programme took place at the University of Georgia (Tbilisi).
Associate professor of Department of Global and National Economics, EFFORT project Coordinator Natallia Yatsevich represented BTEU and the Republic of Belarus at the partner meeting and
made a report with a presentation of the Republic of Belarus and the University, as well as, results of the EFFORT project implementation and its dissemination events.

According to the results, the next applicants were granted scholarships to study at partner HEIs of the programme: Yaskova Aksana, Viarsiatskas Siarhei - Tomas Bata University in Zlin (Czech Republic), Shablouskaya Tatsiana, Kravtchenko Svetlana - Central School of Marseille (France).

Assistant of Department of Global and National Economics Boykova Inna made a presentation "Experience of young scientists’ council activities organization" in frames of which the experience of the University's participation in international project "Education force: driving mobility for EU-East Europe cooperation" of Erasmus Mundus programme was presented.

The meeting was attended by Belcoopsoyuz Chairman, Head of Belcoopsoyuz Human Resources and colleges management.

· general information about the project,

feedback and presentations of the 1st and 2nd cohorts'
participants,

· communication with the participants of the1st cohort Katsiaryna Mizhyhurskaya and Inna Boykova,

· conditions of participation in the 3rd cohort (necessary documents and application procedures).

During the meeting results of the second year of the EFFORT project implementation and a plan of activities in frames of the project for the further period were discussed by all the partners.

During the seminar the following actions took place: Communication platform. Round table "Participation in international educational programs and projects as a way to improve the quality of training". (moderator - Natallia Yatsevich, associate professor of the Department of Global and National Economics, PhD in Economics).
1. Participation of the university in international educational programmes - an important step towards the internationalization of Belarusian Trade and Economics University of Consumer Cooperatives (presentation of head of International Relations department Tatsiana Valynets).

2. International project "Education force: driving mobility for EU-East Europe cooperation": experience and perspectives of further imlementation (presentation of associate professor of the Department of World and National Economics Natallia Yatsevich).

3. European system of educational process through the example of Vidzeme University of Applied Sciences (Valmiera, Latvia) (presentation of senior lecturer of the Department of World and National Economics Olga Maksimchikova).

4. Education in Czech Republic: individual experience of the participant of international mobility programme (presentation of doctorant of the Department of World and National Economics Inna trusevich).

- Erasmus Mundus programme. EFFORT project. Speaker - Yatsevich Natalia, associate professor of Department of Global and National Economics.
- European experience in the educational process by the example of Vidzeme University of Applied Sciences (Valmiera, Latvia). Speaker - Maksimchikova Olga, Assistant of  Department of World and National Economics.
BTEU’s experience of participation in EFFORT. Speaker - Tatsiana Valynets, Head of International Relations Department.
- The English language courses "English for academic purposes." Speaker - Vishnevetskaya Larisa, Head of Department of Foreign Languages.
Applicants (undergraduates, masters, doctorates), teaching stuff and all interested persons participated in the meeting.
During the meeting the participants had a possibility to communicate online with the students who are already studying by this programme and ask questions about the process of formalizing the documents and study abroad.


      http://www.i-bteu.by/Portals/0/Images/BluePoint.gif Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus approved the implementation of international project "Education force: driving mobility for EU-East Europe cooperation" by descision № 1014 of October 28, 2014. Gomel Oblast Executive Committee will coordinate and monitor the implementation of the project, while Belarusian Trade and Economics University of Consumer Cooperatives will take direct participation in above mentioned project.

Representatives of HEIs from 11 countries took part in the meeting. Assistant of the Department of Global and National Economics Maksimchikova Olga represented BTEU and the Republic of Belarus. The participants of the meeting discussed results of the first year of the EFFORT project implementation, developed a plan of activities in frames of the project for the further period.

        We are reminding that students, masters, and a doctorate of BTEU are currently completing their study (training) at European universities in Portugal
, France, Czech Republic, and Greece in frames of the first cohort of EFFORT mobility programme funded by the European Union.We inform you that in the nearest future a new call for participation in the 2nd cohort of the mobility programme will be opened for students (except 1st year students), masters, doctorates. Follow the information on the website of the University www.i-bteu.by
        For the preparation of documents for participation in a new call for the 2nd cohort of the mobility programme students will have an opportunity to attend specialized course “English for study purposes” at the University (duration of the course is 10 academic hours), after which students will be issued a certificate of training and certificate, as well as the certificate of proficiency in English language. Cost of the course is 121.000 Belarusian Roubles.

According to the results, the next applicants were granted scholarships to study at partner HEIs of the programme: Kuchinskaya Darya, Tsikhanau Vitali - Polytechnic Insitute of Viana do Castelo (Portugal), Haikova Elena - Central School of Marseille (France), Yukhneuskaya Maryna - Swansea Metropolitan University of Wales Trinity Saint David (UK), Trusevich Inna - Tomas Bata University in Zlin (Czech Republic), Yatsevich Natallia - Swansea Metropolitan University of Wales Trinity Saint David (UK), Buzuverova Olga - Vidzeme University of Applied Sciences (Latvia).

  March 17, 2014 The call for the first cohort of Erasmus Mundus programme has finished. 14 applicants took part in the first call, including 6 undergraduates, 4 masters (Target Group 1), 1 master (Target Group 3), 1 doctorate and 2 applicants from university staff. A further stage of theprogramme is evaluation of applicants by host institutions and an independent evaluator from the coordinating institution - ATEI of Thessaloniki (Greece).

The deadline for submitting the applications for students, masters, doctorates and staff in the fisrst cohort of Erasmus Mundus programme was March 17, 2014 (at 23.59h).



  October 16-20, 2013 Alexander Technological Educational Institute of Thessaloniki (Greece) hosted the first kick-off Partner Meeting of the EFFORT project of Erasmus Mundus program. It is the first time Belarusian Trade and Economics University of Consumer Cooperatives participates in this project. The project is expected to provide students mobility as well as mobility of post graduate students and academic staff to higher education institutions of the EU partners for study for a period of 1 - 2 years, conducting researches, developing new disciplines for a period of 1 - 6 months. The general requirement of the project is recognition of studies pursued at an institution of higher education by the internal institution of higher education.
BTEU gives special attention to the project, because it will give the opportunity to work out the first experience of participating in mobility programs. Mobility is one of the basic principles of the requirements of the Bologna Declaration. That is why in the first kick-off meeting was attended by Rector of BTEU, Doctor of Economics, Professor Sviatlana Lebedzeva and First Vice-Rector, Candidate of Economics, Associate Professor Misnikova Lyudmila, who is responsible for tutoring of international projects .
The coordinator of the project is Alexander Technological Educational Institute of Thessaloniki (Greece) and Armenian National Agrarian University (Yerevan) is the joint coordinator of the project. The project involves 20 universities, including 8 universities from EU countries (UK, France, Portugal, Latvia, Estonia, the Czech Republic, Poland, Greece), and 12 universities from the post-Soviet countries (Azerbaijan, Ukraine, Georgia, Armenia, Moldova, and Belarus). Besides our university representing Belarus, Baranovichi State University is also involved in the project.
